Join us for a 3-day international art therapy and yoga retreat in the heart of the Hungarian countryside in Nógrád. We will gather at a beautiful community center called NohaTerény for 16 hours of art therapy and 3 yoga classes.
NohaTerény: https://www.nohatereny.hu/
We can unplug from our phones, the noise, and city life to refresh our systems and find new connections in the silence. There will be lots of games to get to know each other, sharing circles around the fire, and creative opportunities like painting, claywork, drawing, and eco-art therapy.
The food will be vegan and the people will be kind.
The retreat is recommended for everyone who is curious to get to know themselves more deeply through art, and all those who wish to make authentic connections and learn from others' experiences as well.
No previous artistic, yoga, or therapeutic experience is needed at all(!) Before you commit, we would like to invite you for a zoom chat to get to know us a little and ask everything you need to know before deciding.
The retreat will be either in English, or bilingual in English and Hungarian, depending on the applicants' English knowledge.

T H E M E :
From time to time, we tend to fall into tiny little pieces. It can feel impossible to collect our pieces and find the "whole" picture. At this retreat, we will attempt to get a glimpse into our whole(some) self. The following questions will help us: What kind of polarities are present in us? How can we integrate our different parts and memories? Where is that wholeness that we are needing so much?
We will explore the connection of light and darkness, the theory and practice of the Native American 'medicine wheel', the symbol of the circle, etc. Our aim is to bring our inner picture out that is showing us who we are as whole beings; and to feel our sense of completeness, even just for a minute. There is completeness in all of us, but we often tend to hide it from ourselves.
